پایگاه خبری آمریکا در سوریه هدف حمله پهپادی قرار گرفت - RT USA News

کاپیتان بیل اوربان، سخنگوی پنتاگون روز چهارشنبه گفت که دو هواپیمای بدون سرنشین در نزدیکی یک پایگاه آمریکایی در استان حمص در جنوب سوریه مشاهده شدند. یکی از پهپادها "به عنوان نشان دهنده نیات خصمانه ارزیابی شد و حذف شد" همانطور که او سفر می کرد "عمیق تر در منطقه منازعه تنف"، اوربان گفت در حالی که هواپیمای بدون سرنشین دیگر به تنهایی منطقه را ترک کرد.

در جریان این حادثه هیچ تلفات یا خسارتی به این پایگاه گزارش نشده است و مشخص نیست که آیا پهپادها مسلح بوده اند یا خیر.

این حادثه روز سه شنبه، کمتر از دو ماه پس از اینکه پایگاه نظامی اشغالی مورد حمله گسترده قرار گرفت، رخ داد. در 20 اکتبر، مخلوطی از پهپادها و موشک ها بر روی این پایگاه ریخته شد که بنا به گزارش ها، خسارات مادی شدیدی به تأسیسات وارد کرد. ارتش آمریکا در مورد حادثه اکتبر انگشت اتهام را به سوی ایران نشانه رفته است. جان کربی سخنگوی پنتاگون در آن زمان به خبرنگاران گفت: ما در گذشته شاهد حملات مشابهی از سوی گروه‌های شبه‌نظامی شیعه بوده‌ایم که می‌دانیم مورد حمایت و پشتیبانی ایران هستند، اما من وارد جزئیات نمی‌شوم».

پایگاه نظامی التنف در مارس 2016 در استان حمص تأسیس شد که ظاهراً برای آموزش شورشیان علیه دولت اسلامی است. سوریه نیز مانند روسیه، این پایگاه را یک اشغال غیرقانونی می داند. در حال حاضر حدود 200 نیروی آمریکایی در آنجا مستقر هستند.
