Amazon Luna was revealed today, and its basically a new cloud gaming service designed for instant play. It leverages the incredible scale and capability of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to stream high-quality, immersive games, but without lengthy downloads, updates, pricey hardware or complex configuration settings. You can even start playing on a single screen and then seamlessly transition to another. At launch, Luna will be available on Fire TV, PC / Mac and web apps for iPhone / iPad – Android coming soon. Gamers can play Luna with a traditional keyboard / mouse, a Bluetooth game controller, or the new Luna Controller with Cloud Direct technology. The latter is Alexa-enabled and connects directly to the cloud to effortlessly control your game. Featuring a multiple-antenna design that prioritizes un-interrupted WiFi for lower latency gaming. When you’re in the cloud gaming service, players will also see Twitch streams for games in the service, while also being able to instantly start playing Luna games.
