NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are set to undock from the International Space Station in the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule Endeavour at 7:34 p.m. EDT as the Demo-2 test flight enters its final stage. The mission first began on May 30th and after undocking, they are expected to spend just under a day in orbit before returning to Earth Sunday afternoon. The conclusion of SpaceX’s Demo-2 mission also marks the first U.S. splashdown in nearly 45 years, as they are expected to land in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Pensacola, Florida, one of seven options available, at approximately 2:41 p.m. EDT (1841 GMT) if weather conditions permit. One concern from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Hurricane Center is the movement of Hurricane Isais, which is currently heading towards Florida.
