Meghan Markle and Prince Harry pay undisclosed sum for rent and refurbishment of Frogmore Cottage

In August this year, it was reported that Meghan and Prince Harry had moved with their son, Archie, to a new permanent home in Santa Barbara, California, several months after announcing their decision to step down as senior, working members of the royal family.

Amid their official departure from royal duties at the end of March, some called for the couple to pay back the £2.4m that was previously spent on renovating Frogmore Cottage.

While the duke and duchess have already covered the costs for the renovation of the property, a senior palace source added that they have made a “substantial contribution” to cover refurbishment and rent for their UK home.

GREGOR Solar Telescope Captures Incredible Close-Up Image of a Sunspot

GREGOR is a solar telescope that has been equipped with a 1.5m primary mirror and is located at the Teide Observatory on Tenerife in the Canary Islands. It’s currently the third-largest solar telescope in the world, after the Big Bear Observatory and the McMath-Pierce solar telescope. Its primary goal is to observe the solar photosphere and chromosphere at visible and infrared wavelengths. Read more for two videos and additional information.

The telescope boasts a high-order adaptive optics (AO) system with a 256-actuator deformable mirrors and a 156-subaperture Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor. It was recently upgraded with two off-axis parabolic mirrors and captured stunning close-up images of multiple sunspots.

Hilary Duff says she’s ‘still completely repulsed’ she drank her placenta in a smoothie after giving birth

Hilary Duff has revealed she is “still completely repulsed” that she drank the placenta from the birth of her daughter in a smoothie.

In 2018, a month after her and Matthew Koma’s daughter Banks was born, Duff said she had consumed the placenta after blending it with fruit, and that it was “the most delightful smoothie I’ve ever had.”

However, during a recent appearance on Whitney Cummings’ podcast Good For You, the Younger actress opened up about the decision to drink her placenta, explaining that it had been on the guidance of her midwives.

After telling Cummings that her sister consumed her placenta in pill form, Duff said she had also eaten hers but “not quite in pill form”.
